Community Program Coordinator

Reports To: Executive Director
FLSA Status: Nonexempt (1 year position)
Classification: Part-Time (20 – 25 hours a week)
Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour
Primary Responsibilities
The Community Program Coordinator designs, organizes, and manages community-based programs and events, while also providing education within the community and developing professional relationships with organizational partners and the public.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Cultivate, strengthen, and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations, schools, local agencies, and other stakeholders essential to the program's success.

Lead the day-to-day operations and execution of all program activities, including community events and workshops.

Develop and implement strategies for community outreach, public awareness, and participant recruitment for the program.

Assist in administering client surveys and evaluating the overall effectiveness of the program, analyzing data to identify strengths, areas for improvement, and recommendations for future program sustainability.

Compile, write, and edit reports and other documents required by funders. Submit all reporting requirements in an accurate and timely manner

Monitor the program schedule and project milestones to ensure all program deliverables and objectives are met on time and within budget.

Coordinate and manage all resources necessary for program success, including logistics, materials, equipment, and scheduling of facilities or partners.

Work closely with the finance department to monitor program expenditures against the grant-approved budget.

Attend and participate in conferences, workshops, and other training, as directed, as well as professional development opportunities.

Qualifications
1. Associate's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Community Development) or a related discipline, with at least two years of related professional experience
2. Experience with community planning, program development, implementation, and evaluation
3. Experience working with multiple stakeholders and marginalized communities
4. Applicants fluent in both English and Spanish are preferred
