Thomas R. Kluzak, MD, MMM 

Thomas R. Kluzak grew up in suburban Chicago where he attended St. Procopius College and Loyola University Medical School. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis and remained on the faculty there for almost 5 years before beginning a residency in anatomic pathology. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Anatomic Pathology.  Prior to coming to Wichita in 1988 he practiced pathology at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois for 2 years. In March 2003 he joined the pathologists at Via Christi Regional Medical Center and serves as Medical Director of the Laboratories. He also serves as the Institutional Review Board Chair for Via Christi Health Systems. He has been an active member of WMREF since he arrived in Wichita and was named Scientific Director and chair of the Scientific Review Committee in 2002. He received a Masters in Medical Management Degree from Tulane University in 2006. Tom has two adult sons who live in San Diego and Phoenix. He and his wife Kathy, a surgical nurse, live in North Wichita and like to spend time at their California mountain home close to their granddaughter.
